Cleaning, Taping, Painting and Cleanup.
Next will be some windows, then painting the trim.

Don't look too bad for three days work.
730 to 1130am while it was cool enough to do anything.

Next steps on this job, done.

Shower surrounds cut to fit, specialty cuts for walls that ain't entirely square.
Wall prepared per instructions, glue dabs every 4 to 6 inches.
Surround panels test fit, trimmed a last time and glued in place. A roller was used to guarantee the right adhesion.

Craig does that too.

Next: tape for caulking to keep pretty, install last of shower hardware, prepare and install shower doors. And this part of the project is done.

Demolition is well begun. Tub shower removed and disposed of.Still need to pull the toilet, carpet and open up the floor...

Demolition is well begun.

Tub shower removed and disposed of.

Still need to pull the toilet, carpet and open up the floor for its repairs.

Next is plumbing then wall work to assemble the new shower, followed by putting in new flooring and finish work.

That will be in the next post.

Craig has been rather busy for as late in the season as it is.

1. Replace sink and faucet in a kitchen. 2hrs work.
2. Troubleshoot and install tv antennae.
TV in living room and bedroom now see all local phoenix tv stations.
3. Rehang patio lights to be used with light switch for back door.
4. Install floor in bedroom.
5. Replace bad light switches with new box and better switches.
6. Install patio screen door.
7. More that I cant think of now. Its been a busy month.

The patio door that was removed because it still leaked water after the retrim. Replaced it with wall and a 36in inswing...

Replaced it with wall and a 36in inswing metal door. It conveniently rained that night. No water made it in.

Trimmed it out to match the rest. And made the inside pretty as well.

Good 6hrs of work.

Saturday Morning Solution.

A neighbor's water lines separated at the dielectric union due to age and corrosion. The union was over half plugged with corrosion.

He had lakefront front property the night before.

A little bit of shovel work, two hours of work and one trip for parts and he is reconnected and can entertain his guests in style.

Water main to pex to copper in to the house.

Call Craig he can figure a fix on water lines too.
