Same building. 25 more years of life.

When this facility manager called us, she was being quoted for a full tear-off and replacement...$400,000+. Our team found 60% of the membrane was still sound. The real problem was isolated to the drain fields and a failed pe*******on seal.

Result: a targeted restoration at a fraction of the cost. Zero business interruption. 25-year roof life extension.

We could have pushed for the replacement, but we didn't, because our crews are employee-owners, and we do what's right for the building, not what's right for the invoice.

Hayes Barton Baptist Church was founded in 1926 with 173 members to serve North Raleigh’s growing population. Its first temporary structure, a wooden “tabernacle,” was built in 1926, followed by a permanent brick building in 1927. The church’s original building was destroyed by a fire in 1962, and the current structure was built on the same site.

This year, Baker Roofing gave that building new life with a heritage-grade slate roof restoration! Our technicians used La Bana slate in Unfading Black and 20 oz copper flat sheets to leave an artisan touch on all flashing and trim, including:

• Built-in gutters
• Drip edge
• Step flashings
• Counter flashings
• Valleys
• Ridge flashings
• and radius dormers
