Natural oil finished hardwood floors are beautiful—but one of the reasons we love them is that caring for them doesn’t have to be complicated.

The key is to think of your floor a little differently.

Natural oil becomes part of the wood rather than sitting on top of it like a traditional film finish. That means your maintenance routine is simple:

Use a pH-neutral hardwood cleaner and a flat microfiber mop for regular cleaning.

Wipe up spills rather than letting moisture sit on the floor.

Avoid harsh cleaners, steam mops, and products that leave a coating behind.

And when the floor starts looking a little tired, it can often be refreshed without sanding the entire floor.

That last part is one of the biggest advantages of natural oil. Your floor can be maintained over time instead of waiting until the finish fails and the entire floor needs to be refinished.
