π§ PRO-TIP OF THE WEEK: How to check your home for leaks
1οΈβ£ Check the attic after rain. Look for water stains, dark spots on the wood, or damp insulation.
2οΈβ£ Look up inside. Brown rings or bubbling paint on ceilings are early warning signs.
3οΈβ£ Use your nose. A musty smell can mean hidden moisture.
4οΈβ£ Walk the yard, not the roof. Look for missing shingles and gaps around chimneys and vents.
Small leaks turn into big ones.
π‘ This family had a leak that wouldn't quit, so we tore their roof down to the deck, replaced the plywood on one side, and rebuilt it right. Leak fixed, just in time for winter.
