Years of rain and runoff had taken a toll on this backyard, creating deep washouts and trenches that left the yard uneven and difficult to use.

We brought in clean fill dirt to fill the major washouts, regraded the area, and smoothed everything out to give the homeowner a more even, usable backyard. Now the area is ready for seed and a fresh start.

One step closer to a finished backyard 👏

After having a brand-new pool installed, this homeowner was ready to get the surrounding yard prepped for the finishing touch: sod.

The pool installation left roughly a 4–5 inch elevation difference between the new concrete and the existing grade. We brought in high-quality screened topsoil, backfilled around the pool area, and graded everything out to create a smooth transition and a solid base for sod.

Now the yard is ready for grass and this backyard is one step closer to becoming the outdoor space the homeowner envisioned!

This backyard was full of ruts, roots, small trees, and uneven ground. We graded a level area for a playground, terraced a space for a fire pit, installed 6 pallets of Tahoma 31 sod, and finished it with fresh cypress mulch.

FROM SLOPED YARD ➜ FAMILY BACKYARD

We started by grading and leveling the backyard to create a clean, usable space. From there, we built out a dedicated playground area, graded a terrace for a fire pit, brought in 20 tons of topsoil, installed four pallets of Tahoma 31 sod, and built the fire pit to complete the centerpiece of the yard.

This project isn’t finished just yet. We’ll be back this week to install two more pallets of Tahoma 31 sod and fresh mulch to put the finishing touches on this transformation.

Water pooling against the house is never a good sign.

This homeowner was dealing with standing water near the foundation and water making its way into the sunroom. We removed overgrown bushes, regraded the area, and installed a French drain system to move water away from the home. To finish it off, we added pea gravel and fresh black mulch for a clean, finished look.

This gravel driveway had settled over time, creating a low spot near the road that made for an uneven entrance and could continue to worsen with rain and traffic. We added fresh gravel, built the area back up, and smoothed everything out to restore a solid, level driveway entrance.
