Bauhaus Weekly Wrap-Up: Week 35

Stocks went up this week. Your life got more expensive this week. Funny how those two things keep happening at the same time.
The S&P 500 closed at 7,711.76, up two-thirds of a percent.

Green arrows, calm vibes. But underneath — oil's at $83 a barrel, gas in LA is still north of $5, the 10-year Treasury yield ticked up to 4.72%, and new semiconductor tariffs are on the table in Washington. Add Iran's threats over the Strait of Hormuz, and the machinery is grinding in one direction: out of your wallet.

This week's market movers — chip tariffs, EU vs. China, and Nvidia still carrying the tech rally. Plus: OpenAI goes to Brazil, Alibaba drops an AI coding agent, and Meta gets caught limiting teen safety features to the US only.
