Installed some Black Pearl/Suede tops recently with backsplashes. After siliconing splashes to tops, the silicone leached into both the stone splashes and tops creating a shiny looking streak and looked awful. Could not remove with anything. Fabricator decided and may not have been sealed properly in the shop and went ahead and replaced all. Long story short short, same issue. We were very diligent in only using a minimal bead to seal but still showed a shiny line.
Any tricks we’re missing??
