Huge shout out to one of our own! Congratulations to Matt Kiefner on being chosen as one of the inductees to Perryville High School's 2026 Inaugural Hall of Fame. Let's hear it for Lt. Col. Matthew Kiefner, Class of 1984.

We are proud to recognize our last Perryville High School 2026 Inaugural Hall of Fame inductee: Lt. Col. Matthew Kiefner, Class of 1984.

A standout three-sport athlete and honor graduate during his time at PHS, Matt’s journey after graduation reflects the highest standard of "Pirate Excellence." He went on to serve our country with distinction for 20 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he became an elite F/A-18 pilot, flight instructor, and combat veteran decorated for his bravery and leadership in operations overseas.

Matt’s commitment to service did not end with his military retirement. As a community leader, he continues to give back as President of the Missouri Veterans Home Cape Girardeau Foundation Board, advocating for the quality of life of our veterans. Whether through his career or his dedication to his hometown, Matt exemplifies integrity, resilience, and a lifelong devotion to others.

Thank you, Matt, for your service to our nation. We look forward to celebrating this incredible legacy at the Green & White Gala!
