Sometimes the smallest things can turn into the biggest problems. For instance, we ran a call yesterday for a unit that was not cooling properly.

Here in this photo we have a very small bare spot on a wire that was rubbing up against some copper tubing on the outdoor unit. Every time the system tried to turn on the outdoor unit it would blow a low voltage fuse and cut low voltage to the entire system causing it to not run at all.

Three other companies had previously been out trying to chase this issue that each recommended equipment replacement rather than spend quality time to fully troubleshoot the system.

After repairing the wire, we started the system and verified proper unit operation. The system is now cooling and the customer is comfortable.

Troubleshooting a system properly takes time especially when it comes to low voltage shorts. We take pride in quality and not quantity. By taking as much time as we need to fully investigate and troubleshoot we can confidently assure you that you will have a proper diagnosis the first time. Ran upon this frozen up rooftop package unit today in New Braunfels. This is what we DONT want to happen to you due to lack of maintenance! The rain we’re experiencing here n our area has been great and has kept the temperatures down but make no mistake summer will be right back.
