2025 marks a monumental milestone for the United States Marine Corps—its 250th anniversary, tracing back to the Corps’ founding in 1775 at Tun Tavern in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
For two and a half centuries, Marines have embodied an unwavering spirit of perseverance and tenacity, not only on our Nation’s battlefields, but also through their steadfast commitment to giving back. -- Through the Marine Toys for Tots Program, they bring joy to children in need, carrying the same unyielding dedication they show in battle into their support for communities.
As we commemorate this 250th year, we celebrate a legacy built on honor, courage, commitment, and pride.
