🚧 BEFORE WE DEMOLISH THIS BATHROOM… HERE’S WHAT HAPPENS FIRST! 🏡🔨

📍 Los Altos, California | Bathroom Remodel — Day 1

Most homeowners only see the beautiful before-and-after transformations. But what happens BEFORE demolition is just as important! 👀

At Avila’s Construction, we believe a successful remodel starts with respecting and protecting your home.

Before the first hammer swings, we’re taking the necessary precautions to protect our client’s property.

✅ Covering and protecting existing flooring
✅ Protecting surrounding areas from construction debris
✅ Establishing a designated walkway for our crew
✅ Preparing the work area before demolition begins

Because quality construction isn’t just about the finished product. It’s about how your home is treated throughout the entire process. 💯

⭐ WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY MATTERS MOST

A successful remodel isn’t just about how the finished project looks—it’s about the experience homeowners have while getting there.

During our San Leandro, CA project, we sat down with our client to talk about the work, the process, and her experience with Avila’s Construction. Hearing directly from the homeowner is something we’ll always value. 🙌🏽🏠

We believe communication, transparency, and taking care of the home throughout construction are just as important as the craftsmanship itself.

Thinking about remodeling your home in the Bay Area? Don’t just look at finished-project photos—pay attention to what clients say about the experience behind the work.

🚧 BEFORE THE DEMO, COMES THE PROTECTION

A kitchen remodel doesn’t start with swinging hammers. It starts with protecting the home.

We’re kicking off a new kitchen remodel in Union City, CA, and before demolition begins, our crew is covering floors, sealing off work areas with plastic, and protecting the client’s belongings from dust and debris. Then… it’s time to make a mess. 🔨😅

The finished product matters, but how you treat the client’s home during the process matters too.

This kitchen is just getting started. 👀 Follow along because we’ll be showing the transformation from demo day to the final reveal.

Final walkthrough of this Newark, CA kitchen remodel 👀🏠

From the warm wood-tone cabinetry and black hardware to the bright countertops, full-height backsplash, new flooring, recessed lighting, and stainless-steel appliances—everything came together for a clean, modern finish.

One of our favorite details? That black spring-style kitchen faucet against the light finishes. Small details can completely change the final look. 👌

The lowest estimate isn’t always the best deal. 🏠💰

Sometimes a contractor comes in extremely low just to win the project—then the price starts changing once the work begins.

A good estimate should be built around the actual scope of work, with potential issues discussed upfront instead of becoming surprises later.

If you’re comparing estimates for an upcoming remodel, don’t compare the bottom-line number alone. Compare what’s actually included.

WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THIS KITCHEN NOW… 👀

Same San Jose home. Completely different kitchen. 🔥🏠

This is why we love a good before & after.

What started as a dated kitchen with traditional wood cabinetry was transformed into a bright, modern space with clean finishes, upgraded cabinetry, new countertops, updated appliances, and an island that completely changes the feel of the room.

But a remodel isn’t only about making something look newer. It’s about creating a space that works better for the homeowner and feels like it belongs in their home for years to come.

BAY AREA HOMEOWNERS — LET’S TALK REMODELING 🏠🔨

Your home deserves more than a quick estimate and a sales pitch.

When you’re investing in a remodel, you should know who you’re working with, understand what’s happening with your project, and feel confident about the team working inside your home.

That’s what we’re building at Avila’s Construction — not just remodeled spaces, but long-term trust with the homeowners we work with throughout the Bay Area.

Whether you’re thinking about updating one room or taking on a larger renovation, it starts with a conversation about your home, your goals, and what you actually want from the project.

Your Contractor Shouldn’t Leave You Guessing 👀

One of the biggest frustrations during a remodel? Not knowing what’s happening with your own home. 🏠🔨

Homeowners shouldn’t have to constantly call or text their contractor just to find out what was completed, what’s coming next, or where their project stands.

At Avila’s Construction, we make communication a priority throughout the remodeling process. Keeping our clients informed, answering questions, discussing upcoming work, and addressing concerns along the way are all part of delivering a better remodeling experience.

Because quality craftsmanship is important—but so is knowing you hired a team that keeps you in the loop.

Not every remodeling project goes exactly according to plan—and homeowners deserve to know how their contractor will respond when something unexpected happens.

On this Bay Area project, we made a mistake involving an existing chandelier during the electrical work.

We owned it.

We communicated with the homeowner.

And we’re covering the cost of a brand-new replacement ourselves.

For Avila’s Construction, accountability means standing behind our work and making things right—not looking for excuses.

That’s the level of communication and responsibility we want every client to experience when they trust us with their home.
