Thanks and till the next one. Progress. We are shooting for hump day to pump and pour . It will be a great day. Then we will let concrete set for 27 days to let concrete become full strength, so then we wait, and do other jobs. ;)

May be just a little piece of front sidewalk, but we put the same love and tender care no matter what size the job. We care about the finished product/ the final outcome and look. Thanks and till the next one.

Annnnnnnnnnd DONE!!! Now need to wait a bit longer then cure and seal. Remember the cure and seal only last 30-90 days for curing process of concrete coming to its fullest strength. All concrete should be sealed roll of thumb every two years or more. Remember concrete is very porous material and can be like a sponge and soak up all the wrong outside elements, that can break concrete down in time. Just saying. Protect your concrete from our western Pennsylvania weather.

Alice and I had a little 10 bagger to get mixed on site and this is me hand floating and striking her off. Concrete sidewalk section. Thanks and till the next one with his and hers..

Well little piece of sidewalk needed removed and replaced. So we got her saw cut with the concrete cut saw, with diamond blade and water to help keep dust down. Then we use an electric jackhammer to break up existing concrete to hand movable pieces, dispose of weight removed to back of truck to get rid of when we leave the job. Used the small rubble to regrade base, framed area to match the existing the best we can. Tied to existing. Caution taped off area till tomorrow. Then first thing tomorrow we will cut wire mesh to fit, cut tar strip to fit on either side. Then mix on site with an electric mixer, pour and finish. Cure and seal. Caution tape off till next day. Remove forms and put dirt and landscape back. Till the next one. 😉
