🍂 NEW FALL CREATIONS FROM HAT CREEK CRAFTWORKS! 🍂

I know things have been a little quiet around here lately, but it doesn't mean I've been idle! I've been spending a lot of time in the shop working on several new pieces, and I'm finally ready to start showing you what I've been up to.

Tonight, I'm releasing the first two new fall creations!

🎃 Faithful Fall Pumpkin

This chunky wooden pumpkin can be colored in a natural autumn color like this rich w**e and features a cross crafted in the center. The cross is inlaid on each side, with this one featuring Golden Sunset Yellow on one side and Pewter Gray on the other.

The stem is made from hard pine and finished in Dark Walnut stain for a warm, rustic contrast.

One of my favorite things about this piece is that it's double-sided—turn it around whenever you want a different look! The crosses are available in two different or matching colors.

It's the perfect size and style for a fall table centerpiece, mantel, entryway, or shelf, bringing together the colors of autumn with a simple reminder of faith. ✝️

🔥 Shadow Cross Wall Pumpkin

The second new piece takes a more rustic approach. This wooden pumpkin has been torched to bring out the natural character and grain of the wood, then sealed for indoor display.

The standout feature is the cross, creating a shadow effect against the pumpkin and giving the piece some beautiful depth.

Hang it on a wall, over a table, in an entryway, or anywhere you'd like to welcome the fall season while keeping faith at the center of your home.

These are just the first two of the new items I've been working on, and I've got more coming soon!

After taking a break from woodworking since the Spring of 2025, I'm excited to finally be back in the shop.

This is the very first project I've completed since picking my tools back up, and I couldn't think of a better way to start again than with something that reflects what's most important to me—faith and country.

This handcrafted 12" × 18" wooden American flag features a hidden Christian cross at its center, a reminder that my faith is the foundation of everything I do. It's made from pine, hand-finished with a custom acrylic stain mixture, and includes a keyhole hanger for easy display.
