Beautiful landscapes start underground. The soil beneath your lawn and plants is a living system, and most landscape problems trace back to soil issues you can't even see. Good soil needs the right balance of texture (clay, silt, sand), nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium), and microorganisms that feed your plants. When any of these are off, grass struggles, plants fade, and trees stop thriving.
Atlanta's red clay soil is notoriously heavy and compacts easily, which means poor drainage and stressed roots without proper preparation. That's why every Live Oak Manors project starts with an assessment of your soil, drainage, and site conditions, before a single plant goes in the ground.
Great landscapes are built from the ground up. Literally.
