This has been a banner year for my garden. So much beauty, so productive. Growing your own food is important, but growing joy and beauty is important too 💚 with the style of gardening I have implemented after years of trial and error, I know for sure that those things that are seemingly there only for beauty are there for so much more. Every flower intermingled with veggies increases pollination rates by attracting pollinators. I've had the best squash year ever this year thanks to interplanting flowers. I have been just living in awe of these cool garden spaces I've created. As soil (and meme) legend Dave Brandt said, "it's not much, but it's honest work"

The flower patch is chock full of beautiful blooms today! I have not felt well enough to pop up anywhere to sell flowers this week (autoimmune flare, boooo) but they do need cut. I still have lots of inventory and no vendor events for the foreseeable future, so if you would like to peruse my house plant selection or get your hands on some of my calendula and plantain salve or sugar shapes, please hit me up via messenger! I'm in Red Lodge about once a week and Bridger every other day for deliveries, or come for a visit and check out my garden!

Freshly made calendula and plantain salve! Made with home grown calendula and plantain dried and solar-infused into organic avocado oil which is heated and mixed with local beeswax to achieve a beautiful smooth salve. My husband is my biggest fan when it comes to this stuff! I've spent the last couple of years perfecting my recipe and I'm finally to the point of sharing it with the world (or rather, my local community!). Getting bouquets made for the Country Morning Market at Corabeth Acres LLC tomorrow! These will be priced between $10 and $15, vase included! I am also harvesting culinary herb bundles, tea herb bouquets (calendula, chamomile, and mint) and more! I had a lot of fun at Carbon County Meats today! You'll find me next at the Corabeth Acres LLC Country Morning Market on August 15th with flowers, house plants, cuttings in bottles, dried herbs, teas, and some new things from my apothecary including the first calendula salve of the year!

I can't believe it's already August, this year is passing crazy fast! I am currently looking to book vendor events in the area September, October, and the latter part of December so let me know if there's an event in the area you think we would be a good fit for! I will be taking a brief hiatus in November and the beginning of December to have and recover from another surgery (boooo), but I will be wanting to get back at it as soon as I can!
