Since I’m terrible at remembering to take and save before photos once my bid is done, this is a real gift from the client who took all of the photos for me and sent them so I had them in my texts. 🤪

Water damage at two different spots in the home around the master bedroom that needed some work. These were not small areas so it was a considerable amount of sanding!

Due to settling, there is more that needs to be completed, and I can’t wait to continue to work with them as their time allows.

This one feels a bit like cheating to post (it’s my mom’s house) but it has truly been a project that is ever changing. Kitchen updated (and still being updated… thanks Mom), a hallway created, closets created, bathroom completely remodeled.

My friend/brother requested a workstation to be built in between the two built-in bookshelves for his better half. We used white board to craft it and the client has been using it daily.

I was a little worried about the flex in the end of it and told them if we need to we can modify the depth or add some legs, but they said it is plenty sturdy and doesn’t require any changes.

Happy client and I had a lot of fun working on this with him! Big wins!

They asked if I thought they should leave it natural, stain it, or paint it white. Since we built it to look like it was always supposed to be there, I told them I’d paint it white…. What would be your preference?

This floor initially had carpet it on it that the homeowner had requested removed because of a pet smell from the previous owner. Once we pulled up the floor, there was this amazing parquet flooring underneath that caught both of us off guard.

Ultimately, he decided to go back with carpet at the moment because of the amount of damage and replacement we would have to do, but overall I feel it turned out well.

This post is missing the before photo, but the wall used to go all the way to the empty space in the tile. The client needed the wall shortened for easier accessibility.

The wall will be repainted as the client decides on a color change for the bathroom and she will be having the floor redone as well once the color pattern is determined.
