Another big retaining wall project completed up in Big Moose, NY!

On one side of the house, we built an 8’ tall × 42’ long retaining wall, and on the other side, a 7’ tall × 14’ long wall — both constructed using Grand Ledge in limestone.

A lot of work went into these walls from the ground up to make sure they’re built right, built strong, and made to last.

Another backyard transformation complete! 🔥🧱

Our client had an old retaining wall that was only about 2 feet tall, making it difficult to mow around the pool and maintain the property. We completely redesigned the area by installing a new retaining wall that wraps around the pool, raising the grade approximately 4 feet and tapering it down on both sides to create a smooth, mow-friendly transition.

To complete the project, we built a custom outdoor fireplace, installed landscape lighting throughout the retaining wall, added decorative river rock, and finished it off with fresh landscaping for a clean, low-maintenance look.

The end result is a backyard that’s not only easier to maintain but also provides a beautiful space to relax and entertain—day or night.
