An empty barge means we've set the first crib. It's always exciting to get the "foundation" of the dock started. Next week we should start to see the steel rods coming up out of the water. Won't be long now until we're done with water work.

Crib building has begun! It's a long process building up from 20ft under the water surface; but we're always up for a challenge. Before we know it we'll be putting the frame on this dock and laying the decking.

Our demolition on this project has finally come to a close. Thanks to Adirondack Customs LLC the final load of debris left the barge today. 20yd container full to the top. Now it's on to moving stone and building cribs. Stay tuned for updates!

Demolition is just about finished on the second half of our latest dock build.

Our latest dock build is moving right along. The southern dock is now finished. We've installed temporary decking on it so it can be utilized as a temporary location for the clients boat. We also constructed a temporary walkway and moved the old stairs to accommodate using the new dock. Demolition has begun on the north dock finger. It'll take some work as there are two 40ft steel I beams in the dock frame. Once the northern dock is removed we will then repeat the procedure we used on the south side. It's exciting to see it all coming together. Stay tuned for more next week!

Little rough out here today but still gorgeous. Can't beat the view from our office!

Last week we completed the final course of lumber on the southern dock frame. This week we'll cut the steel rods from the cribs flush to the dock frame, install temporary decking, and move the walkway to a temporary location. Once that is completed demolition of the remainder of the old dock will begin. We're excited to get the next phase of this project started.

We've completed the second course of treated lumber on the new dock. One more course and the southern dock is completed. Next week we'll finish the frame, get the temporary stairs up and move on to demolition of the north dock. Stay tuned for more progress updates next week!

This week brought a lot of progress on our latest dock build. The first two dock cribs are now connected and the southern side dock frame has been built above the water surface. It's always exciting when you can finally see the fruit of your labor without diving underwater. Next week we'll finish the dock frame and begin the process of building the northern dock.

Here's a "before and after" throw back from a few years ago. This was a stake dock replacement on the north end of Lake George. The finished product was as solid as a rock. That's our goal, every time.
