Be careful with slick “down-the-hill” heater quotes that only show a monthly payment and never tell you the total cost.
If someone pulls up in a perfectly wrapped truck and the person at your door isn’t the technician, chances are they’re a salesperson. They’re not there to solve the problem with your current furnace — they’re there to sell you a new system. Most are looking for a quick install and, in many cases, won’t be around to service it later… especially when there’s snow in the mountains.
