We are passionate about helping people increase the enjoyment of their home through our life design and build process for interior and exterior home remodeling.

Three project stops at three different stages!

Stop 1: Nearly complete, with final finishes and touch-ups underway
Stop 2: A main level, lower level, and addition in the middle of construction with beams going in!
Stop 3: Another remodel approaching the finish line

Which stage do you like seeing most?

Turns out, the vision was to fill it, with the people behind every AMEK project.

Designers, carpenters, project managers, office team and plenty of laughter in between.

We’re hiring an Assistant Interior Designer at AMEK Design + Build.

This is a full-time, in-person role for someone early in their design career who is organized, detail-oriented, and excited to learn the remodeling process from concept through production.

You’ll work closely with our designers, clients, vendors, estimators, and production team, helping with selections, specifications, schedules, and the details that keep projects moving forward.

If you have a strong eye for residential design and enjoy balancing creativity with organization, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply via the link in bio or email your resume to [email protected].

Two Homes. One Weekend. All AMEK.

This is Home R18 in Bloomington, a kitchen and main-living remodel designed for a young family who wanted a brighter, more connected place to gather. AMEK opened the previously divided rooms and introduced warm alder cabinetry, hardwood flooring, customized storage and a dedicated coffee bar.

Two Homes. One Weekend. All AMEK.

This is Home R15 in Eden Prairie, a kitchen and main-level remodel created for homeowners who have lived here for more than 20 years. Seven different flooring materials, a raised entry and a restrictive kitchen gave way to better flow, generous storage and a space designed for cooking and gathering together.

This summer, these homeowners invested in the place where their family’s life will unfold.

R18 transformed a dark, disconnected main level into a warm, welcoming place to cook, gather and spend time together. Alder cabinetry, leathered black quartzite and storage planned around everyday routines make the finished home distinctly theirs.

Come experience it during the Fall Remodelers Showcase:

Backpacks, shoes, dog leashes, sports gear... the entryway handles a lot this time of year.

As back-to-school routines settle in, the daily pileup can happen quickly.

These two drop zones were designed for different needs within the same home: one keeps daily essentials easy to grab, while the other adds more enclosed storage for everything that doesn’t need to stay in sight.

A little planning at the door can make the whole house run more smoothly.
