Our clients requested a rustic pathway to access their river front property, and we delivered. This pathway is placed on a 4 inch compacted pad of crushed stone base to prevent settlement, and topped with slate chips. For this particular application, we use slate chips instead of something like river rock. We have found that slate chips hold their place on hillsides a lot better, and they provide a lot more grip in comparison to river rock on a slope.

We are proud to present this beautiful job completed in the blue ridge mountains! This project started with nothing but mud and our imagination. Every block, rock, stone, and paver you see, all 9000 square feet of sod, and every bit of vegetation has been methodically placed by hand. It has been a lot of hard work, but also a lot of lessons, gratitude, and joy with the completion of this project. Keep a look out for more footage of this amazing project!

We are really proud of this beautiful job. Our client had a retaining wall failing and we were able to tear it down, replace it with this beautiful Grey Belgard stone, and complement it with a matching paver walkway and fire pit area! We have more coming on this project so stay tuned!
