Iserman Contracting & Excavating is growing, and we’re looking for experienced people who know how to work hard, think ahead, solve problems, and take pride in building things the right way.

We’re looking for experienced laborers familiar with:

• Heavy equipment operation

• Excavation and dirt work

• Concrete and foundation work

• Site preparation and grading

• Septic installation

• Sewer and water line repair/replacement

• Material handling and equipment transport

• Daily equipment maintenance and job site organization

We are also looking for individuals with foreman or field management experience who can lead crews, communicate effectively, and keep projects moving efficiently.

If you enjoy running equipment, building with your hands, working outdoors, and seeing real progress every day, this is the kind of work that keeps things interesting.

Ideal candidates are dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-minded, and capable of working efficiently as part of a crew. Experience with excavators, skid loaders, grading, trailers, concrete, and dirt work is strongly preferred.

Starting pay is based on experience, skill level, and ability to work independently, self-manage, or lead others.

Stopped by one of our addition projects today to check in on progress and meet with Gene Iserman while the crew keeps things moving forward.

We’re handling the excavation, footings, and ICF poured walls on this one, so naturally the conversation bounced between elevations, concrete, steel, scheduling, and approximately 47 other things happening at once. 🚧

Then Gene called the steel company to order material, got put on hold… and immediately started rapping along to the hold music like the jobsite had transformed into a construction-themed underground concert. 🎤😂

Honestly, that’s kind of the personality of our jobsites. Serious work. High standards. Big equipment. Long days. But also enough laughter and randomness to keep things interesting while we build something substantial.

Somewhere out there is a steel supplier employee who probably had no idea they were about to become part of a live excavating soundtrack.
