Decks decks decks for days

We popped off these front and back cedar decks for a customer a few weeks ago.

Haven't done a lot of cedar the last few years but they hit a much more attainable price point than maintenance free.

When we do these, we use aluminum spindles because staining the flats isn’t so bad but staining spindles is the big pain.

We also implement a lot of maintenance free features to our cedar decks. Rail hangers, post footers and a cocktail rail leave a clean finished look.

Just like that we’re in deck season. Been bidding a lot and closing most, Trex with Westbury rails (see comments) is doing well this summer but cedar (look below) hits a much more friendly price point.

On a quick site visit I immediately noticed Kenny had his harness on. I wasn’t surprised. We talk safety a lot.

Of course we don’t need harnesses for decks.

The finishing touch's make all the world of difference. In the final days of a flip, painting the internal visible vent black makes a noticeable difference.

This isn't a lot on its own, but coupled with caulking and painting trim, making sure outlet covers are wiped and sit flush and all the lights are the same color temperature... all of these little details add up to a site visit with a new buyer being left wowed!

BUT - call us for decks. Big decks or little ones, we want to be your maintenance free deck guys.

Not all decks are created equal. This is a cedar deck that hits a less expensive price point than maintenance free.

Still has aluminum spindles because wood spindles those are the worst to stain.

All clean lines with cocktail rail, racetrack, post footers for a clean finish.

We go from a big header to shoring up the roof, removing the header and miscellaneous studs, installing new header and studs, to finished opening the floor to top off the window.
