J Kuhn Copper John Kuhn Copper has been installing custom copper and slate roofs since 1982. We also specialize in standing seam and soldered flat-lock copper roofs.

We have the knowledge and experience needed to assess historical slate roofs and restore them to "as new" condition. A slate roof is a once-in-a-lifetime investment, we install and repair to keep it that way. Our roll-former shapes stock copper into custom panels that are fitted to the roof. terials, and old world copper techniques, we take pride in hand crafting gutters and flashing that will provide years of leak-free service. We are seeking a Roofer to Join Our Team at J Kuhn Copper

JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a new team member with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to help us install copper and slate roofs and copper gutters in Berkshire County. While experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right person. This job provides opportunities for advancement and increased pay as skills are acquired on the job.

The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, pick up new skills quickly, have good physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety. Must be able to pass a drug test (does not include THC).

DUTIES
~Install roofing materials such as copper panels, gutters, drip edge, ice slides, and slate shingles according to specifications
~Repair and replace damaged roofing materials to ensure structural integrity
~Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
~Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks, ensuring efficient workflow
~Conduct heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials as needed
~Apply caulking and other sealing materials for waterproofing purposes
~Assist in additional construction tasks such as light carpentry and painting when required
~Maintain a tidy and professional job site
~Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
~Must be comfortable working on ladders

Starting pay is $20-$24/hour, depending on experience. There are opportunities for advancement and increased pay as skills are acquired.
