There's nothing fancy about a fire vault. You just have to know how it's done. Two valves, a couple of double checks, zero shortcuts. That keeps dirty water out where it doesn't belong.
This line feeds the fire suppression system straight to the pickleball courts. If there's ever a fire, the department rolls up and pulls water. Simple as that.

The small stuff is what people never see and it's exactly what makes a job hold up.
Take pipe assembly. Use the right lubricant, in the right amount, and the joint seats clean. Skip it or skimp on it, and you risk a rolled or cut gasket. The kind of mistake that shows up later as a failed chlorination test, not on install day. That's why every pipe gets cleaned before it goes together. No shortcuts, no guessing.
It's not glamorous work. But it's the difference between a job that's actually done right and one that just looks done.

There's a lot more to the work underground that you don't always see.
Making sure we complete due diligence on all facets is crucial so we never have to come back. Steele's integrity ensures that our guys get it right the first time.

The fire line going in on Murphy Road serves buildings that aren't standing yet, and one that's already full.

It crosses to the RV park running across the street, feeds this pad, and ties in Hangar 97 when it goes up. Set it right the first time, because it only gets buried once.

What's buried under your favorite building that you've never thought about?

Nobody's waiting on anybody. Hoe stays swinging, artic stays loaded, water truck keeps the dust off all of it.

Wyatt shows us what dedication to your work really means. There's a lot of operators out there that wouldn't take the time to study plans the night before to ensure smoothness, but that is the Steele Earthworks type of quality you'll get from our crews.

Burns is getting a water system that'll outlast all of us. We split the job into phases so a project this size doesn't turn into chaos, and Phase 1 is nearly buttoned up.
Before we tie any of it in, every foot gets tested, because swapping a town onto a new waterline and cutting the old one loose isn't something you get a second shot at. Quiet work, but it's the kind that matters most once it's covered back up.
