This Memorial Day, County Road Utility Locating would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all who have served our country, and especially to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Every year, this time hits especially hard as we remember the men and women I had the honor and pleasure of serving beside who gave everything for this country. Their sacrifice, courage, and brotherhood will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of getting out and doing a locate job in rural Kansas, and it honestly reminded me why I started this business in the first place.

There’s just something different about being out on those county roads, surrounded by the Kansas countryside, helping folks who really need reliable, local service. It’s not just about locating utilities, it’s about supporting the people and communities that keep rural America going.

While I was out there, I even got the chance to stop by a small local museum about the Dalton Gang Hideout and take in a bit of history as well as the scenic views of the Gypsum Hills. It’s moments like these that make the work even more meaningful, seeing where people come from and being a small part of what helps them move forward.

This is exactly how County Road Utility Locating got its name. It wasn’t by accident it was built on a mission to serve the backroads, the small towns, and the places that often get overlooked.

Grateful for days like today and the opportunity to do what I do. If you’re out on a county road and need a locate, you know who to call.
