You were loved and we grew a lot of plants together until the freeze made you implode. You also housed a lot of bugs and frogs that I met as I was taking you down. That included 2 black widows...
I didn't kill them. They are in the woods out back.

Justin can build anything WITH plans. If I try to explain it or draw it...he just doesn't see it the way I do 🤣

I think he loves me 😍🤣

It has been a busy few weeks, but it is nice to go upstairs and see everything is not only still alive, but thriving even though I don't have time to enjoy it most days.
I had just harvested some of the peppers, so the plants look a little more bare than they actually are.
🥰😘

Don't trust people with pigs and snakes.

Pigs can eat and digest all of a human except the teeth. Snakes can digest the teeth.😱

I just found out that I can't grow my favorite apple tree unless I go sneak it out of Washington state. They will not ship out of state. Heart breaker....

The vevor electric fencing/ charger was much, MUCH cheaper, BUT the charger started messing up after a couple months. It didn't hold a charge more than a couple nights. We had to charge it with a trickle charger a few times because it would die and we didn't want the chickens "exposed" any more nights. Even though it is quoted for holding charge "up to 5 days," it never lasted more than 2.5 before it died. It finally totally quit about a week ago after being in and out for a month. So, after 6 months it is in the trash. Waste of money.

The fencing was just all bad. The posts are too far apart, so you have to use stakes and bungees to keep it taut. Even then it still sags. The feet that you put into the ground are soft metal, so it bends if you get close to any rocks. The rods are a plastic material attached to the feet, so some of them completely broke off...and last but not least, it was a total pain in the ass moving 168' of fencing because it got wayyyy too heavy. I couldn't do it. Justin did it every time.

We have officially switched to Pier 1 fencing. Justin put it up yesterday, and it is so much better. Night and day difference in just one night. We got the rolly thing the make it easier to set the fence up and take it down. 2-100' fences make it easier and wayyyy lighter. I think they got it down to 23lbs for the entire 100'.
The battery is an actual battery that will last years and keep our fences charged protecting the chickens when we need it.

I'm posting this because vevor doesn't allow you to edit reviews. Most people write a review before they even use stuff and are excited.to have their new cheaper items. Vevor is totally taking advantage of that. Their fencing has decent reviews, but it is a pile of junk. $300 WASTED. So now, we have spend $1000 in fencing/ chargers instead of $700.

I have bought many things and loved them. My hose reel is amazing. The diesel heater is decent. Stinks, but works in a pinch. The metal sprayer is bomb. The queen air mattresses on "stilts" have been very comfortable for our guests when necessary. BUT, these high dollar items being junk, and the fact that I know I can't trust reviews now is discouraging me from buying any more from them.

I know the pictures of the fencing suck and I dont have any of the new yet. We have had a rough few weeks. I'll post more later.

I have about 4.5 dozen fresh unwashed eggs to give away.
Who is coming to get some?

None of them are older than 2 weeks, so they still have a long shelf life in or out of the fridge. I have used 3 month old eggs sitting on the counter before. I know everyone says one month on the counter and 2 months in the fridge, but that is bologna. If you crack the egg and it looks normal with no smell, the bloom has held and there isn't any bacteria to grow inside.

There is also the float test that is mostly accurate, but not always. And, once you float them the bloom will be washed away, so you either need to refrigerate or use them.
