Today is a special day. Today marks 100 days since we formed the HOPE Coalition. Our vision was to complete 100 homes in 100 days. Although I don’t think anyone thought that was possible…. 82 homes have been rebuilt or repaired since then. Leaving us just 12 short. But the work will not end there.
If you know anyone who still needs help have them get in touch with us on our website.
If you know of a service organization or business that might want to help people restore their homes this winter it is important to let us know so we can contact them about the many wonderful opportunities we have to help people in our community.

We are seeking additional people to help with the recovery effort. We have immediate need for people who can do assessments (use a checklist to evaluate a homes condition and need for repairs, as well as collect data from home owners necessary to assist them with recovery). Secondly, we are looking for folks that would like to help with case work (the effort to assist individuals find and receive resources helpful for thier recovery). Trainings are available for each, as well as mentoring. Our community could really use your help !

We are indeed at work. Having over a hundred cases and having finished only 25 homes so far. We have over a hundred homes throughout Vermont that need heat as we see our first snowfall of the season. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in helping their neighbors. If you have a desire to help in this flood recovery effort, please PM us.
