Everyone meet the newest member of the Hurst Contracting fleet… Dirt Diva!

She’s tough enough to move dirt all day, but let’s be honest—she’d look a whole lot better with some glitter, a giant googly eye, and a set of fabulous eyelashes.
The Dirt Diva is ready to tackle site preps, septic systems, land clearing, and whatever else we throw her way. Don’t let the sparkle fool you—this girl means business!

The equipment is rolling, the crew is moving, and the to-do list is growing by the day!

👶🚜 Hurst Contracting Update: Our Favorite New Project Yet! 🚜👶

We spend our days doing site prep, digging foundations, and moving dirt… but this week we welcomed the most important project we’ve ever been part of.

Hudson Giles Hurst arrived on Monday, June 8th, and Grandpa Corey and Grandma Roxy are already completely wrapped around his tiny little fingers.

Turns out all those years running excavators and skid steers were just preparation for holding a newborn and learning how to operate a stroller.

The site has officially been prepped, the foundation has been poured, and the next generation of Hursts is under construction. We can’t wait to teach Hudson all about hard work, heavy equipment, and how to properly inspect a dirt pile.

A huge congratulations to Blaze & K Kat on the arrival of their handsome baby boy. We are so proud of you both and so thankful for this new little man.

Now if you’ll excuse Grandpa Corey, he’s busy pricing out a toy excavator fleet and figuring out what age a kid can safely start running a skid steer. 😉

We’ve spent years building projects at Hurst Contracting, but somehow Brock went from Pre-K to graduation faster than any job we’ve ever completed.

Tomorrow we celebrate 13 years of school, countless memories, and one very proud family.

Join us at the Barnum Event Center from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM as we celebrate Brock’s graduation and his next big adventure, playing Basketball at UWS.

Fair warning: there may be laughs, embarrassing photos, and plenty of stories from the vault.

Last night we’re celebrated a big milestone as Brock officially graduated high school! We’re incredibly proud of his hard work, dedication, and everything he’s accomplished along the way.

While we’re excited to see what’s ahead for him, we’re also wondering who we’re going to call when we need a strong back and free labor. 😉
