One more thing checked off the list! ✔️

This project was all about making a closet work better for everyday life. We installed a new closet shelving system, giving everything a designated place and making the space easier to use and keep organized.

There’s something satisfying about taking a space that isn’t quite working the way you need it to and making a few changes that simply make sense. Sometimes, a practical upgrade is all it takes to make a space more functional.

One of the things we enjoy most about what we do is seeing familiar faces come back to us for their next project. We truly love having repeat customers and getting the opportunity to build a relationship with the people we work for. Around here, those connections mean just as much to us as the work itself.

This shed got quite the makeover! 🔨🎨

We started by replacing the panels where wood rot had set in, then rebuilt the trim and the runner leading into the shed. Once everything was repaired and squared away, we finished it off with a fresh coat of paint to give the whole space a clean, pulled-together look.

Projects like this are a good reminder that you don’t always have to start from scratch. With the right repairs and some attention to the details, you can give an existing structure a whole new feel.

Walking away from a finished job, seeing the difference, and knowing someone gets to enjoy their space a little more — that’s the part we really love. ❤️

Out with the old and in with fresh, new flooring! 🏡

This project was a great example of how a few changes can make such a big difference in a room. We started by removing the old carpet and getting down to the bare floor. Along the way, we found a few weak spots that had developed over the years, so we took care of those areas before moving forward.

Once the floor was ready, we laid down new laminate flooring and added the finishing touch with new trim to bring everything together.

There’s just something about fresh flooring that can give a room a whole new feel, and we really enjoyed being able to help bring this space back to life.

If you have a project in mind or something around your home that you've been wanting to change, feel free to reach out. We’re always happy to talk through your ideas and see how we can help.

🤝 Small Businesses Supporting Small Businesses 🤝

One of the things we love most about being a small, family-owned business is knowing just how important it is to support one another. We believe there is room for all of us to grow, and sometimes the best way we can help is simply by spreading the word about another local business.

We would like to take a moment to give a shout-out to a couple of small businesses we personally know and stand behind. These are businesses whose owners we know personally, and we feel confident recommending them to our customers, family, and friends.

When we aren't able to help you with a need, that doesn't always mean we can't help point you in the right direction. We may know another local business that can! We are always happy to recommend someone we trust when we can.

This week, we would especially like to help spread the word and help our brother out by giving a shout-out to:

🗑️ RidgeTop Waste — For all your dumpster needs!
RidgeTop Waste INC

🚜 Brandon Kent Excavations — For all your septic needs!
Brandon Kent Excavations

Supporting a small business can be as simple as giving their page a follow, sharing a post, recommending them to a friend, or calling them when you need their services. Those small acts can mean so much to a small business and the families behind them.

We are thankful for the relationships we've built through our own business, and we love having the opportunity to help other hardworking families and business owners along the way. ❤️

From our family to theirs, we appreciate you and hope you'll help us spread the word!

Just a little update from our family to yours! ❤️

As we continue working our way through the busy season, we’re always thankful for the opportunity to help our customers with the things around their homes that have been waiting to get done. From those smaller honey-do lists and little repairs that seem to keep getting pushed back, to more detailed projects that take a little more planning, we’d love to hear what you have in mind and see how we can help.

Every job we get to be a part of means a lot to us. We’re grateful for the families who invite us into their homes, trust us with their projects, and continue to support our growing family business. We truly enjoy getting to know our customers and watching their ideas come together.

One small way our customers can help us continue to grow is by taking a few minutes to leave our business page a review if you’ve been happy with the work we’ve done for you. ⭐ Your feedback, whether it’s a review or simply sharing your experience with someone else, helps our small family business in more ways than you may know. We are truly grateful for each and every kind word, recommendation, and piece of feedback. It means a great deal to us and helps give future customers a little peace of mind when choosing who to trust with their projects.

And while Cortney stays busy with the handyman side of things, deer season is officially open! 🦌 Cortney is also a licensed taxidermist and is accepting deer daily. We would be honored to be trusted with preserving your deer and creating something you can enjoy and look back on for years to come. You can find us on Facebook at Cortney Thibodeau Taxidermy to follow along, see updates, and keep up with some of the work coming in this season.

From home projects to preserving a special part of a successful hunt, we’re thankful to have the opportunity to serve our community in different ways. Thank you for continuing to support our family and our businesses — we truly appreciate each and every one of you. ❤️

If you have something on your list you’ve been wanting to get taken care of, feel free to reach out to Allie. We’d be happy to talk with you about getting it scheduled.

✨ A Fresh New Look for This Porch! ✨

Out with the old and in with the new! We were able to give this porch a much-needed refresh by replacing a few of the posts that had seen many years of wear and tear. Once the new posts were in place, we tied everything together with a nice fresh coat of paint on the posts and handrails.

We also changed things up with a new color for the front door and porch, giving the entire entryway a fresh and updated look. From replacing worn-out pieces to adding those finishing touches with paint, this porch got a whole new look!

Projects like this are a great reminder of why we love what we do. It’s not always about making a huge change — sometimes it’s the simple updates that can make a home feel fresh and inviting again. We’re truly thankful for each customer who trusts us with their home and gives our family business the opportunity to be a part of these projects.

Have something around your home you’ve been wanting to get done? We’d love to hear about it! Give Allie a call or message us, and she’ll be happy to get you on the schedule and talk through your project with you.

🏠 A BIG ROOF TRANSFORMATION! 🏠

We’ve definitely been putting in the work this week, trying to stay ahead of this heat wave while tackling a big project from the top down! ☀️🔨

This roof went through quite the transformation. We removed the old tin roofing and replaced it with brand-new shingles, while also replacing all of the old boards underneath to give the roof a fresh, solid foundation.

But we didn’t stop there! We also rebuilt the lean-to, giving this area a much-needed refresh and making sure everything came together properly with the new roof. It was a lot of work, a lot of long days, and definitely a few hot ones—but seeing the finished project makes every bit of it worth it!

We are very thankful we were able to take on this project, get it completed, and most importantly, leave another customer happy with the work we put into their property. ❤️

Projects like this are a great reminder that sometimes a structure doesn’t need to be completely changed—it just needs the right repairs and updates to keep it functional and looking great for years to come.

We’re going to close out this week feeling very thankful for another project completed and another happy customer. ❤️

We hope everyone has a safe and fun-filled Labor Day holiday! 🇺🇸 Next week, we’ll be stepping away from the office to slow down, enjoy some family time, and spend some much-needed time with our daughter, who recently graduated high school. ❤️ We’re looking forward to making some special memories together and enjoying this time as a family.

On September 14th, we’ll be back at it, getting started on the jobs we have on the books and returning all calls, texts, and messages. We appreciate everyone’s patience while we take this little bit of family time.

Thank you all for continuing to support our family and our small business. We truly appreciate it more than you know! ❤️
