Today we stepped out of our box! We heard there were people in need. The sweltering heat is affecting everyone but there are families right here that help. We were able to donate 10 new box fans to Catholic Charities today! 4 will be going to individuals in Butler County and 2 are headed to Lawrence County. Leaving 4 for other requests.
Since I have control of this page. Let me tell you about Rick.
He is the most gentle, kind, giving man I know. Every time he is out to eat, he picks a lucky person of day and buys their meal. When getting gas, he will reach up and pay for someone purchases.
He always has a box of dog treats in his truck. Loves to catch a random ball and toss it around with the kids. He has been known to jump on a trampoline when he thought no one was watching.
He recently sat with a newborn fawn that got separated from its mother. He stayed with the fawn and played music to try to calm the shaking little one until Game Commission came and helped reunite the little one with its mom.
He is so much more than the Guy in the Orange Shirt. If you see him out and about. Please shake his hand. Give him a hug. Give him a bottle of water. He will probably have a magnet or business card for you. Snap a picture and send it to me for Facebook please!
