Semi-anual Maitenance is key for a multitude of reasons. We recently came across this one. It was a home that did not have semi-annual maintenance for quite some time. (Approx. 10 years). Mold had built up in the evaporator blower housing and fan wheel. This poor family (to include a small child) was breathing it for way too long. We removed the assembly cleaned it with a foaming acid wash and she is clean once again. Attached are before and after pictures
