Good pantries are accessible and store lots of not so pretty things. Pantry doors that match the surrounding cabinets hide those things and turn this kitchen into a warm, cohesive entertainment space for guests.

We built three different tray ceilings into this home, and each one does something a little different for the room it's in.

A tray ceiling is a simple move with a big payoff. It provides extra height while also giving a room a sense of architectural intention. It also create a perfect spot for accent lighting.

These are the details that don't show up on a floor plan, but they're a big part of what makes a home feel custom.

Which one is your favorite?

Good lighting design does more than illuminate a room, it shapes how the room feels. In this bathroom remodel, we layered in accent lighting throughout with recessed niches in the shower and over the soaking tub, and a lit trey ceiling that adds depth.

It's a small detail on paper but it changes the entire experience of the space. Swipe through to see how it all comes together.

Meet Bobbi & Rich!

They found the perfect piece of property here in the Austin Hill Country, gorgeous views and all, but knew that getting the home they really wanted meant building it from scratch. So they brought in J. Angelo Design Build to help make it happen, and we're so proud of how their Hill Country Exceptional home turned out.
