Two months. That’s how long it took to give Torch Literary Arts its first home.

After a year of delays with a previous contractor, Amanda Johnson, founder and executive director of Torch Literary Arts, brought us in to finish the Torch Center in North Austin. We put in a brand-new AC system, new electrical and lighting, and the wall finishes. We also added more painting than the original scope called for, and stayed inside a nonprofit budget.

Today it’s a lit shop, a library and a creative home for Black women writers and the whole Austin literary community. Readings, workshops and a monthly open mic are open to everyone.

It started as an empty shell and a floor plan sprayed on concrete.

We teamed up with Industrious Austin to design and build their new training facility from the studs out. Full HVAC, lighting, insulation, and paint. New bathrooms and showers in the back. A layout mapped station by station around how they actually coach and train.
Our Design Build Specialist, Arie, worked side by side with Luis and his team on everything from the lighting concept to the flow of the room.

This was a carport. 🚗➡️🛏️
An open carport in central Austin had one job: park a car and collect boxes. Now it’s a fully finished guest suite. Bedroom, spa bath, and a private automated entry behind a custom limestone wall built to match the main house stone-for-stone.
Swipe to watch it transform: the finished suite first, then all the way back to bare framing and the day we rolled out the plans on the slab.

A stress-free primary bath remodel in Pflugerville, TX.
Naomi and her husband had never worked with a general contractor before, so they searched online and found us. From day one the goal was simple: keep it organized, keep them in the loop, and make the vision real.
New 54-inch freestanding tub, a full walk-in shower with a bench and niche, a reworked pony wall, brass fixtures throughout, and a double vanity that ties the whole room together.
Here’s what she said about the process:
