Quick PSA: be careful who you let work on your vehicle—because I just ran into some “repairs” that were more creative writing than craftsmanship.

I’m talking:

bolts missing

wires twisted together like a friendship bracelet

parts held on with hopes, dreams, and bad decisions

If your car has ever been “fixed” with shortcuts, you’re not getting a repair—you’re getting a future problem.

And let’s be clear: it’s called Jerry-rigging, not Genius-rigging. If the solution requires zip ties, duct tape, or “just don’t touch it,” that’s not a fix… that’s a countdown timer.

If something feels off after a repair, get it checked before it turns into a tow bill.

Brake and rotor replacement today—and let’s just say these rotors were out here doing their own thing.

Quick reminder: rotors are supposed to be smooth, flat, and consistent.
They are NOT supposed to look like:

a vinyl record

a waffle iron

or something you’d use to sharpen a butter knife

Brought home a new project: a Nissan 300ZX.

Plan of attack:

Full inspection and baseline diagnostics

Fuel, ignition, cooling, and vacuum checks

Electrical cleanup (because old projects always come with “surprises”)

Fluids, belts/hoses, and any overdue maintenance

Then we move into performance and cosmetics
