Well, I guess we are also help people in the trades. Just got this from David at Hard Hats.

We have a job for some ironworker welders that have to have Rigging NCC, ER or NCCCO certs. Just wanted to see if you knew anybody pays $32 an hour per diems $125 working six tens potentially long-term.. will have to weld test. Job is in Cape Canaveral, Fl

Certification vs Qualification
This year; 2025 has brought so many requests for NCCCO Certifications and company supplied Qualifications. We found that companies requesting Qualifications fall into 3 categories,
1. We need a qualification that actually involves the tasks we do everyday day. 10%
2. We need qualification for 20 team members in Rigging / Signal for no more than 3 hrs. (Written test, hands on and practical)

3. OSHA got us, we need 70 crane operators certified. We have to do this quick and cheap. (Or similar )

WARING!!!!! There’s a big misconception about crane operations and OSHA. Especially when it comes to approved “Hand Signals.” No longer is it allowed to use whatever signals the operator, rigger and supervisor agree upon. It’s the Crane Operations Directive.

Good morning!!!!! The industry is taking another shift. Companies are scared of training, OSHA evaluations and employees skills constantly changing. No worries we got you.
This company was being looked at hard by OSHA. They could not wrap their head around that the maximum weight the company is 750 lbs. That part doesn’t fall under OSHA. They were not going to give up so…. We developed a complete specific “Training Curriculum” for their task. Like we say, “we know the box and we can think outside of it.
