๐ง Erosion doesnโt always start in the pond.
At this trucking terminal, we found significant erosion around and underneath the concrete drainage channel that carries stormwater from the parking lot, underneath the fence, and toward the siteโs stormwater system.
Erosion has also caused separation around a headwall, creating a gap where water can continue washing out the surrounding soil and potentially worsen the damage.
This is exactly why routine stormwater inspections matter. Problems like this can remain hidden until erosion has already compromised the surrounding structure.
