As Safety Week continues, we have another shoutout—today we’re recognizing Ed.

Over the past two years, Ed has lost 140 pounds by building consistent, healthy habits, and he shared how that progress has directly improved both his life and his safety at work.

As Ed explains, his weight loss has increased his energy, alertness, and reduced fatigue—key factors in staying focused and working safely. He also shared that improved mobility allows him to navigate tighter spaces more easily, reduces physical strain, and lowers his risk of injuries on the jobsite.

Ed’s story is a reminder that health and safety are closely connected.

We’re proud of Ed for his commitment and for being willing to share his journey to inspire others.

We are keeping the momentum going this Safety Week by recognizing the people who lead the way in safety!
Today we are shouting out Daniel for his exceptional attention to detail and commitment to jobsite safety. As a first-year apprentice, Daniel Pina has consistently gone above and beyond - identifying potential hazards and taking action before they could become serious risks.
From catching damaged MC cable that could have led to shock hazards, to stopping work and reporting missing barricades and signage, Daniel has shown that safety is everyone’s responsibility.
Speaking up, staying aware, and doing the right thing - even when it means stopping work - can make all the difference in keeping everyone safe.

In honor of Safety Week, we are recognizing some of our standouts in safety over the past year!
Today we are shouting out Eddie for his quick thinking, when an unexpected injury happened on the jobsite, Eddie didn’t hesitate. He was the first to react - stepping in immediately, assessing the situation, and supporting a fellow coworker as the team moved into action. Eddie’s calm response and awareness helped ensure first aid was administered quickly and effectively when it mattered most.
Moments like this are why first aid training matters. Quick thinking, calm reactions, and the right knowledge can make all the difference when it counts most.
