Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and reliable Residential & Commercial Electrician to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in homes, businesses, and construction sites. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-driven, and experienced with a broad range of electrical systems.
Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, lighting, and equipment in residential and commercial buildings
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine appropriate solutions
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Perform routine inspections to ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes
• Collaborate with contractors, clients, and team members to complete projects on time
• Ensure all work meets high-quality and safety standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients
Qualifications
• Valid electrician license (Journeyman or Master), or ability to obtain
• 2+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work
• Strong understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with electrical tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied environments (heights, crawl spaces, outdoors)
Preferred (Not Required)
• Experience with smart home installations
• Generator installation experience
• Low-voltage/communication systems knowledge
• OSHA certifications
