πŸ‘ Twenty-five years. Same company, same curiosity.πŸ‘

Today we are celebrating Sucele on 25 years with us. She has worked across several departments during her time here, and that range is exactly what shaped her into the Conservation Analyst she is today. In her own words:

"Wow, 25 years with Argen! It is hard to believe how quickly the time has passed. Throughout the years, I have had the privilege of working in different departments, developing new skills, and gaining a broader understanding of the company. These experiences have allowed me to see the 'bigger picture' and have helped shape me into the Conservation Analyst I am today.

As Mr. Gene used to say, 'We will always learn something new.' My goal is to continue embracing that philosophy by keeping an open mind, remaining willing to learn, and growing both personally and professionally.

I am truly grateful for the experiences, lessons, opportunities, and relationships I have gained throughout this incredible 25-year journey."

πŸŽ‰ Congratulations, Sucele. We are better for every one of those years.

πŸ”” LAST CALL, we go live this morning.

Behind the Bill, Part 2 starts at 10 AM ET, and there's still time to grab a seat.

πŸ“Œ Live on Zoom

Every topic came from a question we actually get asked. Water is the hardest line in your budget to forecast, and in one session we'll show you how to build a 2027 water number you can count on.

πŸ’§ Budget season is here. Water is one of the hardest lines to forecast, and it's where we get the most questions. We're setting aside an hour to answer them.

What we're covering:
πŸ“ˆ Spotting rate increases before they land
πŸ’§ Measuring actual versus optimum usage
πŸ”Ž Verifying the rates on your bills
βš–οΈ Smoothing the swings in your numbers
πŸ—“οΈ Year-round average or month-by-month

🍦 Ice cream social at the office. 🍦

We cleared the calendar, pushed the chairs into a circle, and set up a full topping bar.

Most days our team is heads-down in bills, meter data, and site visits. Getting everyone in the same room, off the phones, is how we stay connected to each other and not just to the work.

We are proud of this team every day. This was just a good excuse to say it. πŸ‘

πŸ’§ A water budget tends to break in the same few places. Part 2 is built around fixing each one.

Here's a peek at what we're covering:

πŸ”Ή Researching rate increases before they hit
πŸ”Ή Budgeting actual usage against optimum usage
πŸ”Ή Accounting for the swings billing errors create
πŸ”Ή Turning your property's own history, from leak patterns to seasonal trends to occupancy shifts, into projections you can stand behind

Four of the hardest lines in a water budget, handled in one practical session.

πŸŽ‰ Twenty years with Argen. Congratulations, Melly!

πŸ’Ό Melly has spent all twenty of them in Customer Service. Her title has not changed. The job has, many times over, because she keeps wanting to know how the next thing works.

πŸ”Ž Her first priority is our customers, answering questions, working through concerns, and making sure people get the support they need. Around that she has picked up project support, field service software, proposals, meter parts sales, meter troubleshooting, high usage reports, payment processing, and accounts receivable.

🀝 Melly will research just about anything, at work or otherwise, for the simple reason that she did not know it yet. That instinct is what turned one role into a dozen, and it is what she wants more of this year: new responsibilities, new corners of the company, more to learn.

What she values most is everything she has learned and the people she has learned it from, coworkers and customers alike. Ask about her proudest achievement and she points to the same thing: being part of the Argen family.

Thank you for twenty years of curiosity and care, Melly. Here is to the year ahead! πŸ‘

πŸ’§ The people leading this session don't study water budgets from the outside. They live in them.

Arthur, our President and CEO, co-founded Argen in 1982 and has spent 40+ years turning water from an unpredictable cost into a controllable one. Damon, our Conservation Analyst, works in the usage data every day, where the rate shifts, billing errors, and seasonal swings that break a budget actually show up. πŸ“Š

One built the company around water cost management. The other works the numbers behind it. Come see how they build a water budget you can defend.

πŸ’§ A lower water bill is worth more than the money you save.

Water looks like a monthly cost. Easy to pay, easy to forget. But it's an operating expense, and every operating expense comes straight out of your NOI, the number buyers and lenders use to value your property.

So every dollar off the water bill does two things:
πŸ’° stays in your pocket now
πŸ“ˆ raises what the property is worth later

Almost no one puts a number on that second part. Lower costs today, a more valuable property next year.

See where you can save today.

πŸ’§ Most owners can't tell if their water bill is high.

Not because they aren't paying attention. There's just nothing to measure it against.

The total means little on its own. A big number at a big property is often normal. A "fine" number at a small one can hide real waste. πŸ“‰

No benchmark means you're guessing, and what you can't see could be costing thousands in wasted water, quietly draining your property's value.

We put together the benchmark most owners never get. Read the full blog at the link in our bio.

πŸ’§ Budget season turns every number into a question. Your water figure should have an answer. βœ…

Nothing on the budget resists a clean forecast like water. Rates move, billing errors throw off a month, and usage swings all year. Behind the Bill, Part 2 is a live, practical session where we price every piece of it in, so the number you carry into 2027 survives the first hard question anyone asks about it.
