On this World Alzheimer's Day, THW Design reaffirms its commitment to designing quality care living environments for residents and their families.
As part of that commitment, we have introduced a new term for memory care: Intuitive Navigational Neighborhoods (INN). More than a name, INN reflects a shift in how we think about environments for those living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, prioritizing familiarity, dignity, independence, and intuitive wayfinding.
These principles are reflected in our work at Lenbrook in Atlanta, where thoughtful planning and design support meaningful daily experiences, foster connection, and help residents navigate their surroundings with confidence.
INN represents our commitment to creating supportive, intuitive communities that empower residents through thoughtful design, comfort, and connection.
