🔦 Employee Spotlight: Woodrow Watkins
This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Woodrow Watkins, who brings 11 years of experience in the electrical industry, including the last 6 years as part of the Caldwell team.
💼 Throughout his career, Woodrow has worked across commercial and industrial electrical projects with experience ranging from field installation and construction to project planning, estimating, and project management. Before entering the electrical industry, he proudly served 4 years in the United States Navy, where he developed the discipline, leadership, and problem-solving skills that continue to shape his work today.
🌟 What Woodrow enjoys most about the electrical industry is that no two projects are ever the same. While the core principles stay consistent, every customer, facility, and job site brings new challenges and opportunities to learn. He values the constant problem-solving aspect of the work and the chance to continue improving with every project.
🎉 Outside of work, Woodrow enjoys spending time outdoors, especially fishing and anything that gets him outside. He also enjoys playing guitar and spending quality time with his family—whether that’s taking his son to Tae Kwon Do classes, going fishing, or finding new adventures together. Recently, they enjoyed a family trip to the botanical gardens and spent the day exploring together.
💬 “Failing to plan is planning to fail.”
Woodrow believes preparation and planning create opportunities for success in work, family, and life. Even when things don’t go exactly as planned, having a strong foundation gives you something to build and adapt from.
