Dock repair.... So customer called me to repair roughly 40 rotted boards, hurricane brackets on an older 410 foot dock. After looking it all over I asked about the floating area at the end that was broken and half under water. One of the floats underneath was gone and for nearly a decade it's been under water. I told her I could fix it with redneck engineering she didn't believe me so challenge accepted...

2 15 ton rachet straps
8 inch screws
New float for the corner
Scrap lumber...

It's fixed without a crane or getting in the water
