A little grading, stone, and intention and we’ve got a fresh and functional pathway 🪨

Our hardscaping always stays permeable so this pathway will let rain percolate rather than run off.

What’s that we found blooming?? Crossvine (Bignonia capreolata) is a Southeast native that you may stumble upon climbing fences and trellises. Those trumpet-shaped flowers attract a multitude of pollinators including our small but mighty Ruby-throated Hummingbird. Just like pollinating insects, hummingbirds are constantly transferring pollen from one bloom to another on their nectar-hunting adventures.

CHEAP BULBS FOR A GOOD CAUSE! 🌷🌷🌷

These bulbs we have on hand are priced to sell QUICKLY at less than half the market rate and offering them locally helps us raise initial funds for things like soil, tools, plants, and basic infrastructure for the garden.

We’re in the early stages of starting a brand new community garden at our new headquarters in Oakland City. This space is being built to support local food security, shared learning, and neighborhood self-sustainability. It’ll be a place where food, skills, and land care can be grown together.
To help get this garden off the ground, we’re hosting our first-ever fundraising effort.
