We love repeat clients. Clients that want your quality of work so badly, they’ll be incredibly patient as you work out how to complete their job while moving out of state, growing your family, and the chaos of the holidays with a young family. Nathan started by demolishing the kitchen floor and wall separating the kitchen and sunroom. A beam was installed and a couple of cabinets rebuilt to accommodate a new sink and trash drawer. New sleek cabinet and drawer faces were installed as well as a new media/book nook with lighting. Paint always brings everything together and was needed on the cabinet bodies, walls, ceiling, and trim in the kitchen and sunroom.

Can you say Massaranduba decking? That’s okay. Brazillian Redwood is another name for the beautiful wood Nathan used to build this poolside deck with cedar railings. The attached sunroom got an upgrade too. It was gutted and reframed. Then Nathan added subfloor and drywall on the walls and ceiling. Fresh paint and it was ready for the client to take on the next phase. Can we create a beautiful outdoor space for your family?

Sometimes rearranging a space is the best way to maximize beauty and function. We completely gutted this client’s second bathroom and again removed a separating wall. Then we played round robin with the toilet, shower and storage space and added a freestanding tub. We installed another specialty curbless shower with a niche. This was the start of 3 big projects for one of our new favorite clients! Nathan started by gutting the whole bathroom, including the wall separating the toilet and shower space. A new curbless shower with a bench and niche was installed. These types of showers are really our specialty. New tile flooring was followed by a new toilet, vanity, mirrors, lights, and plumbing fixtures. A pocket door made this bathroom more user friendly. Trim and paint to finish it off, and our client had a brand new bathroom! Could your bathroom use a curbless shower and pocket door for easy access? Let us take care of it for you!

Word to the wise, floors should not bow when you stand on them. This client had 2 bathrooms gutted, including the subfloor. The cast iron tubs needed a little convincing with an angle grinder. Once a new sturdy subfloor was installed, Nathan placed new shower inserts, glass doors, vanities, toilets, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, a medicine cabinet, LVP, and trim. Drywall was repaired from past wallpaper, and this older home now looks as good as new!

A hearth is often at the heart of a home. Literally placed where people gather and is often the focal point of the room. If you want to invest your money in a project that will be noticed, the hearth is the place! Nathan made a beautiful focal point out of this previously plain fireplace. Most time spent around a deck is on a deck, but if the bottom of your deck looked as pretty as the top, might you spend more time there? This client saw usable space under their deck but looking up was an eye sore. Nathan remedied that with some tongue and groove boards, trim work, and stain. Who can you trust with your 1890’s antebellum home?? Nathan with Blue Willow Homes, that’s who!! This bathroom was ready to be in the 21st century. Everything but the vanity was gutted which unfortunately revealed that the shower had been leaking for quite some time. The leak caused rot through the sub floor and almost completely through the wall support beam. Nathan was able to support the wall, replace the beam, and continue on with the remodel. After leveling the new subfloor, tile was installed across the floor, into the curbless shower, and up the shower and tub walls. That’s a lot of tile. A new tub and toilet were installed, vanity painted, new countertops, and then came the closet. Once Nathan altered the closet opening, he installed barn doors on both the bathroom and closet entries. New closet shelves and rods, new trim, and paint everywhere, and this client had a whole new bathroom! If you have concerns about mold, rot, or structural support, give us a call. Nathan has lots of experience in these specific areas and won’t compromise on the integrity of your home.

Need new flooring in just 1 room? We can help with that! We will even move the furniture out and back in like we did here. Once Nathan cleared the furniture, he removed and disposed of the old carpet, and prepped and installed LVP. Of course he couldn’t leave the trim outdated. Nathan added quarter round and gave the baseboards a fresh coat of paint. What a difference it makes to walk into a polished space at the end of a long day!
