We are getting ready to put down fresh pavement on one of South Metro Atlanta's busiest corridors!
Scarbrough Paving LLC is hard at work resurfacing SR 138/Jonesboro Road through Union City, including the heavily traveled I-85 interchange.
This GDOT project includes more than three miles of milling, inlay and plant-mix resurfacing along SR 138, extending from just east of US 29/SR 14 through the I-85 interchange and beyond Buffington Road.
Much of this work takes place at night, when our crews can mill and pave while minimizing impacts to the thousands of motorists and businesses that depend on this corridor every day.
