I've been browsing Pottery Barn lately—their furniture and wooden pieces have that timeless design everyone loves, but the prices are always steep. If you're like me, you watch for sales hoping to catch a deal. A few years ago I thought, 'Why not just build the same quality myself for a lot less?' So if you’ve seen something you love on Pottery Barn and want it at about 50% off while supporting a local maker, send me a picture of the piece. We’ll work out a custom build and a fair deal.
