Our daughter’s loft, our dove release business is flying from two locations, we live just a few miles apart but it’s been working out great. On weekdays if we’re not slammed she just grabs birds from her loft and rolls out. As the week progresses we draw more and more from the original loft.

The birds seem to draw hawks when I let them out in the aviary. So this year, I’m trying something new. We purchase some rolls of camouflage to cover the tops and most of the sides so hopefully when the Hawks are flying over, they won’t see them and the birds can enjoy their fresh air and a little sunshine, even though it shades it a bit.

The2026 breeding season is now beginning. I usually wait until February 14 to start, but I just couldn’t wait for the most exciting part of the year. Handling these birds today was quite an experience, every single one of them handle like pure gold. Reminding me why I have them in stock lot in the first place.

These are two photos of some Dove’s Nest release doves on a movie being filmed here in Atlanta, our daughter Dionysia is working this gig .I don’t envy the 12 hours of freezing on the set. But look forward to seeing birds I raised in the movie.
