PSA: Things that do not belong in your cars locks (Especially the Ignition)
1) Super glue, for some strange reason if a key breaks in the Ignition some people reach for glue. Your Ignition consists of tiny slots with small springs and metal wafers and can literally jam with as little as a grain of sand. Super glue makes it a solid piece and costs you more money than just having the key extracted. Also if you hire a locksmith and they mention glue to extract a key ask them to leave sternly.
2) Graphite, powdered graphite in an Ignition that comes from the factory with grease in it turns to mud and again it can jam with as little as a piece of sand. I don't care what the parts guy tells you at the auto parts store, graphite was great for cars in the 50's. WD-40 is the only thing that should be sprayed into the ignition of your car (it doesn't hurt your electronics around the ignition like other l***s).
3) Screwdrivers, I know you can buy an ignition cheaper than having a key made but you're also going to have to pay someone to program that key as well.
Everyone stay dry and safe the rain will pass.
