A great time was had by all at our Kris Shaffer Memorial Employee Appreciation Day! Special compliments to chef 👨‍🍳 Josh and Beth for introducing us to the Hammerschlagen 🔨 game! We didn’t capture any pics, but the ice cream/sundae 🍨 🍦 bar was a hit too! We’re so appreciative for the hard work and efforts of each and every one of our employees, and it’s the least we can do to take an afternoon each year and celebrate them!

This day is named in memory of 30+ year Comfort Control employee Kris Shaffer who passed away following a courageous battle with cancer in 2023. Kris embodied our core values of Customer Service, Ownership, Mastery, Family, Openhanded, Reliable and Trustworthy LONG before listing core values were a thing and he remains an example to all that knew, loved and worked along side him!

Today is a special day at Comfort Control! Our teams will be taking a well-deserved break to enjoy our annual Kris Shaffer Employee Appreciation Day. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to relax, recharge, and celebrate the hard work and dedication of our amazing team members. As a result, our offices will be closing at noon, we apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause to our valued customers and partners. Jeff, Joe and Sean spent some time this week at the Lorain County Fair for the Lorain County 🤗 Hands-On Career Pathways Expo. Over the two days we met and taught over 3,700 middle and high school students from Lorain County how to cut 💪and thread black iron pipe like a boss! 🧑‍🔧👨‍🔧

We love interacting with our youth and the workforce of the future and teaching them about the trades!

As part of our United Way of Ashland County Pacesetter Campaign, we have started a Queen of Hearts 👸♥ Drawing and decided to open it up to the public! Each Friday through the end of the calendar year (or until we have a winner) we'll draw 4 lucky tickets and they'll get to pick a remaining card # of their choosing in the order they are drawn 🃏. If the card they choose is the Queen of Hearts 😍, they win 1/2 the pot and the other 1/2 will be added to our campaign total. If there are no winners, all the tickets are discarded and a new drawing starts the following week. Feel free to stop in to either office M-F, 7 to 4 or use the QR code below to visit our microsite and purchase your tickets via CC, but first call in and ask to speak to Emily so she can keep track and call you if you win! Last week the total pot was $52 (winner gets $26) and we had no winners. Good Luck! 🍀

County Fair Season has come to an end and it's time for us to draw the winner for the 🆓 Lennox furnace giveaway we held at our booth.

🥁 Drumroll please......Congrats to Jeffrey Ayers from Ashland! 🎉 We will be contacting you later today to setup an appointment to verify all of the information necessary to install your new high efficiency furnace before the cold weather arrives!

Anyone who signed up to win, will still receive a phone call and $500 OFF Coupon toward the purchase of a new heating or cooling system.

For the entire month of October mention to your technician 👷🏻, plumber 👨‍🔧, comfort advisor 👨‍💼or service dispatcher 📅 that you'd like to join in and we'll add a $5 or $10 donation to your invoice to add to our campaign! Every dollar💲counts and together we can help the residents of Ashland County that need it the most.
